What’s the difference between powder coating and paint?Powder coating is a type of coating applied electrostatically as a free-flowing dry powder and cured to form a hard finish. This is in contrast to paint, which is applied as a liquid and allowed to dry. As a thermoplastic or thermoset polymer resin, powder coating tends to be much tougher than conventional paint.

OUR HISTORY
1984
CRM was founded as a division of Trylon Corporation. Starting with just a small dip line for automotive stamping, we began building our reputation of providing timely, high-quality results.
1998
CRM begins offering e-coating services. To answer the needs of our diverse and growing customer base, we installed a state-of-the-art e-coating system to add to our other services.
1987
First powder system installed. As our business grew, we expanded our services to include powder coating.
CRM continues to move forward—Since 1998, we have added several new services and upgraded our equipment. These upgrades have included two new power coating systems, a vibratory finishing system, and an internal transportation system. We will continue to grow and expand to meet the needs of our customers.
